To uplift communities and provide immediate income opportunities, foodpanda Malaysia has launched the ‘Jejak Panda’ initiative. This campaign is more than just a recruitment drive; it’s a step toward transforming lives by making the usual delivery rider job easier and more accessible.
‘Jejak Panda’: Perfect for a Delivery Rider Job
The ‘Jejak Panda’ campaign was inaugurated by YB Fahmi Fadzil, Member of Parliament for Lemah Pantai and the Minister of Communications, along with Shubham Saran, Director of Operations at foodpanda Malaysia. The campaign aims to offer easy and quick earning opportunities for those in need.
Held at IWK Eco Park in Pantai Dalam, this one-day event was a hub of excitement and opportunity for those searching for a delivery rider job. With over 150 residents in attendance, the campaign succeeded in delivering just that!
Immediate Income Opportunities
Jejak Panda focuses on creating accessible delivery rider jobs, allowing individuals to earn as freelancers, working whenever it suits them. This is so beneficial for those looking to get a rider delivery job to supplement their income or temporarily work as a delivery rider.
Additionally, foodpanda provided on-the-spot registration, training, and a complimentary rider kit. This helped new delivery riders to start working right away!
A Day of Fun and Learning
The event was not just about recruitment; it was a celebration of community. Attendees enjoyed food, fun activities, and free health and eye checkups. They also got to learn about the welfare initiatives under ‘panda hearts’. These welfare initiatives give benefits like insurance schemes and upskilling programs for delivery riders and their families.
Supporting the Delivery Rider Community
Shubham Saran emphasized foodpanda’s commitment to supporting communities, not just through job creation but also by offering welfare and engagement programs that help delivery riders achieve their life goals. The ‘Jejak Panda’ initiative is a testament to foodpanda’s dedication to making a positive impact across Malaysia.
