Specific Initiatives In Malaysia’s Charity Homes
In Malaysia, HFF will allocate approximately RM177,800 (USD 40,000) to Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/Miskin Rukaiyah. This grant will fund several key initiatives aimed at improving the children’s well-being and sustainability. A significant portion will go towards constructing a hydroponic planting facility, providing the home with a sustainable supply of fresh produce. This facility will enhance the children’s access to nutritious food and serve as a platform to teach them valuable agricultural skills.
The grant will also cover food subsidies, kitchen renovations, and general operating expenses like electricity and water bills. Additionally, nutrition education classes will empower children to make informed dietary choices and lead healthier lives.
The Chairman of Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/Miskin Rukaiyah, Dr Abdul Rahman B. Kurais, shared,
HFF’s unwavering generosity since 2018 has enabled us to ensure that our children have access to proper nutritious food and a nurturing environment. The new hydroponic planting facility will teach them invaluable skills while providing fresh produce. The additional support will enable us to foster long-term well-being for every child in our care.

Supporting Children’s Wishing Well In Singapore
In Singapore, the RM222,300 (USD 50,000) grant supports Children’s Wishing Well in its mission to address the nutritional and developmental needs of over 300 children from low-income families. Two signature programmes, the Hot Lunch Programme and the FRESH Grocery Shopping Programme, will benefit directly from this funding.
The Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Wishing Well, Joanna Tan, emphasised the importance of the partnership,
Hunger and malnutrition can impact any community, even in developed countries like Singapore, where abundance and waste often coexist. HFF’s continued funding allows us to run impactful programmes like FRESH Grocery Shopping and Hot Lunch, which not only provide nutritious meals but also empower children with essential life skills. This latest round of funding will help provide over 4,000 cooked meals and support more than 300 children with fresh groceries. We are honoured to have partnered with HFF since 2018.
