adidas has introduced the Hyperboost Edge, a new lightweight running shoe designed to improve comfort and performance for everyday runners. The launch marks a fresh step forward in road running, combining new materials and design features to create a smoother running experience.
The shoe is now available in Malaysia, priced at RM849, and can be found online and at selected adidas stores.
Built for Comfort and Performance
The Hyperboost Edge is designed as a lightweight super-trainer that does not use plates or stiff materials. Instead, it focuses on natural movement, allowing runners to move more freely with each step.
Weighing around 255 grams, the shoe aims to balance comfort, speed, and support. It is suitable for both daily runs and longer training sessions.
New Technology for Better Running

At the centre of the shoe is the Hyperboost Pro midsole, a new foam that provides strong cushioning and energy return. This helps runners feel more comfortable while also maintaining good responsiveness.
The shoe also features a PRIMEWEAVE upper, which is soft, light, and designed to fit securely. This improves overall comfort during runs.
For grip and stability, adidas added a LIGHTTRAXION outsole, which helps runners stay steady on different road surfaces.
Tested for Real Performance
According to adidas, testing with runners showed positive results. Many participants said the shoe felt softer and more comfortable compared to what they usually wear.
A large number also preferred the energy return, suggesting that the shoe helps improve the overall running experience.
Designed for a New Look

The Hyperboost Edge also introduces a new design style for adidas running shoes. The bold midsole stands out visually, while the clean upper gives it a modern and simple look.
The iconic three stripes are placed on the midsole, highlighting the technology behind the shoe.
Availability in Malaysia
The Hyperboost Edge is available now in a bold red colour. It can be purchased through adidas.com.my and selected stores such as Sunway Pyramid and Pavilion KL.
More colour options are expected to be released starting May 2026.
