As the House of BONIA celebrates five decades of craftsmanship, the brand is opening more than just a new store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. It is opening a conversation shaped by Italian heritage, modern elegance, and the arrival of a new muse who embodies it all.
On 30 January 2026, acclaimed actor and style icon Joong Archen will make a special appearance at BONIA’s newly unveiled Pavilion KL concept store. This marks his first official visit as Brand Muse for Spring Summer 2026. The moment signals a meaningful evolution for the brand, where legacy meets contemporary expression in both form and spirit.
A Concept Store Rooted In Heritage, Designed For Today
BONIA Pavilion KL concept store is not designed to impress at first glance alone. It is designed to be experienced. Conceived as an extension of the House’s 50-year journey, the space draws inspiration from Bologna, Italy, the city that shaped BONIA’s identity from the very beginning.
Warm terracotta hues, intricate brickwork, and handcrafted textures echo the architectural soul of Italy, while modern symmetry and clean lines ground the space firmly in the present. Personally curated by Datin Sri Linda Chen, Chief Creative & Marketing Officer of BONIA, the store was developed in collaboration with award-winning architecture studio Linehouse.
Located on Level 4 of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, each room reveals a chapter of BONIA’s evolution.
Where The BONIA Story Begins


The journey starts at The Loggia, a tribute to BONIA’s origins. Leather panels, 1970s luggage-inspired cabinetry, and tactile finishes honour the craftsmanship that defined the brand’s early years. This reminds us that BONIA has always built its philosophy by hand (and built it to last).
The Pink Room & The Green Room
In the Pink Room, softness meets strength. Designed as a “Library of Femininity,” the space celebrates BONIA’s women’s collections through blush tones and delicate textures that reflect modern femininity.
The Green Room, by contrast, tells a story of evolution. Marking BONIA’s confident step into men’s design, the room showcases accessories such as belts, wallets, and timepieces amid vintage accents and a reimagined Pandora cabinet. It is masculinity redefined.
A Moment To Slow Down
The experience concludes in The Lounge, the heart of welcome. Here, soft lighting, subtle music, and leather textures invite guests to pause. It is not merely a retail space, but a place to feel at home within BONIA’s world.
