Designed for all-day wear and standout style, the ABZORB 2010 showcases a segmented ABZORB sole unit with bold proportions that instantly draw the eye. The addition of reflective accents, sculpted midsole details, and a translucent TPU Stability Web at the midfoot complete the look, adding function to fashion. Next in line is the ABZORB 2000, previewed during Milan Design Week to much anticipation. This futuristic sneaker embraces minimalism with a mesh upper featuring printed overlay, a sculpted midsole, and a visible full-length ABZORB + ABZORB SBS cushioning system. Designed using 3D modelling tools to achieve curves and detailing that go beyond paper, the ABZORB 2000 represents a new chapter in sneaker design. It’s set to release in June 2025 at RM739, bringing innovation and nostalgia into one sleek package.

Charlotte Lee, New Balance Design Manager, described the ABZORB 2000 as a balancing act between heritage and modernity. “We wanted to amplify iconic design cues like the ABZORB SBS gel cushioning and rework them through a contemporary lens,” she said. This philosophy underpins the brand’s entire design approach, taking the best from the past and reimagining it for today’s lifestyle and fashion needs.
Both sneakers serve more than just aesthetic appeal, they offer performance-level comfort thanks to technology-driven features like the Stability Web shank, molded ‘N’ branding, and reflective details that merge safety with streetwear flair.
