Over 250 young speakers showcased their public speaking skills and left an impact on everyone’s heart at the grandest Annual Public Speaking Showcase in Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC) on October 21st and 22nd.
Collaboration & Empowerment Through Public Speaking
Ebright, the largest Public Speaking center in Malaysia, hosted the event through a collaboration with Junior Chamber International (JCI) Mines, Sunway Damansara and Puchong, and the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB). The goal is to elevate the voices of youth and celebrate diversity through the art of public speaking. The support received from JCI served the community spirit and ensured a grand success in this annual public speaking showcase!
Empowering Young Voices On Stage
One by one, the 250 kids used their spotlight to share their dreams, thoughts, and ideas through their public speaking skills. It was the event’s most heartwarming moment, which reminded the power of youths, and its importance to nurture their voices in this community. The proud family members in the audience witnessed these touching moments as the fearless presenters delivered their speeches.
Voice Of Resilience With MAB
Five speech presenters from the Malaysian Association for the Blind were featured in this event. Their speeches served as a testament to their unbeatable spirit, facing the obstacles to make their voices heard. Powerful messages of resilience and determination lay behind each of their speeches.
Support From The Community
This event played the biggest role in bringing together the support from our community to fill the day with eloquence and empowerment. Ebright donated RM1500 to the Malaysian Association for the Blind through the ticket fund collected from the showcase. Besides that, ADUN Kota Damansara graced the opening ceremony with his inspirational words. The support from the celebrities who attended the event further nurtured young talent and fostered inclusivity in our community.
