Boost, a popular e-wallet platform, has joined the hype by introducing their newest food delivery service called Boost Makan that sought to bring ease for their customers and clients. It seems that after AirAsia Food and Shopee Food, Boost thinks it’s best to step up their app game. Moreover, the good thing about this is that it can assist F&B merchants to bring their businesses online without the hassle of complicated backend systems and expensive fees.
This platform was rolled out six weeks ago as a trial with selected existing partnered F&B merchants. We received positive feedback from our merchants who participated and we’re happy to serve the needs of F&B businesses of any size run an omnichannel operation with ease

Interesting features like “Drive-Thru” service
Currently, there are four order methods merchants can choose from:
- Delivery within 20km coverage radius
- Pick up
- In-store contactless orders for walk-ins
- Drive-thru
The “drive-thru” feature is where customers don’t need to worry about parking when picking up their orders. The feature allows customers to key in their plate numbers. This enables merchants to quickly identify your car when you arrive and hand over your order. Speaking of a convenient system!
How to use Boost Makan
In order to access it, you need the Boost eWallet app first. The reason is that the food delivery service is synced with the e-wallet app. Once you’re on the homepage, you can tap on “Food”, which has the delivery motorbike icon. Afterwards, you can find “Boost Makan” which will lead you to a huge option of food delivery services around you.
If you’re in the middle of a city then you’re in luck as you have a big variety of delivery options.
Great news for F&B merchants
From now until 31 December 2021, new and existing F&B merchants will receive an RM50 merchant incentive upon registering with them. This incentive is only applicable to new and existing F&B merchants who have yet to onboard with the e-wallet company under the Go-eCommerce Onboarding Campaign.
